Do game devs read the forums

Reason I ask I notice loads and loads of threads containing problems about the game but no acknowledgement from the game devs to say they are aware of this and are working on a solution it would just be nice to get an acknowledgement as I guess 99% of bugs found are after launch

Bethesda have always worked like this.

I assume they do read but they just never post to the forums themselves to tell you what they are working on. Eventually you just see a patch. Personally I read the steam beta forums as that gives you an idea of what is being worked on

I'm actually confident that fallout 4 will get better patch support than previous games due to the modern consoles not having the update limitations of the 360.

As the entire game is stored on the HDD they could replace every bit of code in the game if they wanted to where before there were limitations with how much could be patched on 360 due to update files being separate to whats stored on disc.
