Power armor all the time build!

Are you ready to play with your power armor on all the time? Are you ready to walk slowly and hear the red, fusion core empty beep sound for 100 + hours straight? Let's do this!

In unpowered power armor, you cannot use action points. No VATS, no holding your breath while sniping, no sprinting. Just stand there and shoot! Also, your strength is raised to 11. No VATS means no need for agility or luck. No need for strength either. You need so few things you can specialize in two types of weaponry easy!

STR : 3 points for craft armor. Get craft armor and also big leagues to melee stuff with the super sledge, because you really have 11 STR !

PER : 4 ; the bobblehead is easy to find, meaning you'll get 5 and pick locks along with better explosions. Raise this stats to 8 as you level up to use scoped rifles and energy weapons, even if you can't hold your breath, they'll still get knocked on their asses!

END : 1 You can raise it later for more HP, but really, power armor helps a lot anyways. Don't get the +10 resistance perk unless you got points to waste, because it's almost worthless in power armor.

CHA : 3 for the lone wanderer perk

INT : 6 ; with the bobblehead, you'll get 7 and get the science perk with drug crafting so you can make that +50 % melee drug

AGI : 1 Power armor doesn't allow you to VATS anyways. No sneaks, no automatic weapons, no VATS.

LCK : 10 for the ricochet perk ; let enemies shoot you until they die! Don't worry, you're in power armor and high as f--- on med x! Don't count on the bobblehead, it's really far and dangerous to get so just get 10 right away.

So there you have it. You may only walk at 33 % speed ( or something ), but you'll never need to back down from anything, so the game won't take 3 times as long, promise! Specialize in multiple weapons!

You can make build variations like not focusing on getting hit, so drop luck to 1, get 7 CHA for a real partner instead, get more STR if you want to get big guns instead of snipers. or whatever. Really, got enough points to specialize in multiple weapons of your choice! Can also get intelligence to 9 if you go the charisma route to actually use fusion cores when you got real $$$. Dump spare SPECIAL in Endurance.

Good weapons for the build :

Melee weapons are great because of 11 STR ;

Big weapons are good and bad ass ;

Rifles are nice, you just can't hold your breath ;

Bad weapons for the build :

Automatic weapons is a big no no ;

Handguns in power armor looks stupid ;

Explosives kind of svcks because too slow to place mines.

You're gonna hate grenades, mines and rockets. I think there's a key to walk automatically so you won't get tendinitis on your middle finger!

Granted it's subjective, but why would you walk around in coreless PA? You trip over the cores constanly either through looting or buying. They respawn along with loot and enemies, so there's technically an infinite supply.

Especially since you can get your cores up to lasting 50% longer by level 14 if you stack INT to 9, and add another 10% in longevity due to the easily-located Repair bobblehead.

You can literally jog for an in-game day or two straight without needing a new core by that point. And once you get the third rank, you should be swimming in so many long-lasting cores that you can spam anything that needs AP for as long as your heart desires.
