But Brink's gonna be 58089082 times better then both those games combined to the 840th power.

So it feels like there's a lot of useless weapons lying around? And AI that run straight at you?

Oh is there a armory I can glitch my way into and pick up hundreds of useless weapons to sell and add to my money pool?

I'm assuming he means the overall look and the RPG elements of Borderlands (gaining xp, leveling up, choosing skills) is where he makes the connection with Brink.

I guess. I just don't see it because I'm so obsessed that I look at Brink in this whole unhealthy way.

Borderlands was an RPG with guns, Brink is an FPS with leveling. On the surface they may seem similar, but to me its a huge difference. One of the biggest ways to tell is that bullets fire randomly within their (fairly large) hitbox, even on a first shot. RPGs do this to make the game more about positioning, pre-planned strategy, and skill management. FPSs are intended to be a lot of real-time strategy and hand-eye skill.

Feels like a threesome with borderlands, TF2, APB and mirror's edge. With BL like Art style, TF2 like RPG gameplay elements, APB customization and mirror's edge like parkour. Take that, give it developers who are gamers, try to give the community what it wants, you've got an awesome game. Hope it isn't glitch though.

I agree, it seems a lot like Brink, just cause it's not covered in dirt doesn't make it seem like borderlands lol (awful game). There is really going to be nothing like it, thank god :D

To me it only reminds me of borderlands in the art style and maybe a little bit how the guns work.

I like the TF2, Borderlands, and Mirror's Edge resemblence.

TF2 for the gameplay. Borderlands for the art style, and of course Mirror's Edge for parkour.

I think you can leave out APBf of there. The customisation is much more similar to games like Rainbow Six Vegas 2 (but slightly more complex).

thats four :whistling:

Threesome - some things (3) and you.

Not bashing the thread. Hate it in borderlands how you pick up weapon after weapon hoping ONE will be better then the one you're using.
