I went to the place where you get the x-o1 power armor and killed the two enemies, pressed the buttons and it opened the doors where the power armor is but it was only t-45 which is the same as you get in the beginning of the game. I am only level 13. Is that why it wasn't the x-o1?

Yeah you should do that at 30 or higher

I believe so. Some articles online say that you need to be at least level 35 for the armor to appear. Fear not though, you can buy X-01 parts from a vendor named Rowdy at the Atom Cats Garage in the Southwest corner of the map.

Wow, didn't know the game had tiered leveled loot. Always hated that in these games.

Um... I might have kind of killed them for their t-60 power armor.

At higher levels it spawns at the military checkpoints. All is not lost.

I was definitly under Level 30 when I found that place, though not far under. Hit level 30 yesterday, got the armour the day before...

yeah you need to be atleast 30/35 from all the information I've seen. plus if you want more x-01.... buy it or find someone who may be wearing it and steal their fusion core so you can take their armor.

Probably a mix of both, if we're hearing stories about peeps getting X-01 even sooner. Personally, I only hate it when enemies are using gear that makes no sense for them to be having.
