Scopes and NPC labels - wish it showed

Post » Fri Dec 11, 2015 6:16 pm

Non scoped, you see the npc label - gunner, raider, etc.

Would be handy to have label show when also viewed under scope - makes target ID quite tricky sometimes

With my sniper, I'm always encountering long distance npcs i always wonder if are neutral or hostile.

To pre-empt the realism crowd that may say how would a scipe know who those people are, I counter with how does your char know what affiliation people are just by looking at them? Same logic, either your character somehow magicslly knows or he doesnt

Right now, the inconsistency is he can 'know' when staring with his eyeballs but not through the high power mag of a scope.

Obviously, for mutants, ghouls, etc, moot issue. But humanoids without special issue gear making ID also moot is kind of a pain

I would like that as well...and for mutants, gouls, and creatures...so I can pick out the strongest of the bunch without having to scroll around each one in vats.

Just shoot everyone. Even if its just a farmer and his family its not like their lives were worth living anyways. They didn't even have internet.
