I've just built a trader and a clothing trader in my base.... Accept, they don't work, I approach them and no option to barter comes up??? Just 'talk' but the same as with any other settler?

Help?

sometimes settlers will stand at the store after business hours are over. go back between like 9am to 9 pm if that doesnt work idk

I built a bar and assigned a settler to it, but the settler doesn't operate it and I can't get them to.

sometimes the settler will go straight to the store but sometimes they wait a few hours or a day, try sleeping and waking up between the hours of 9 a and 9 p almost the same principle as lamoi's problem

Sometimes you have to literally lead them to it each step of the way with the 'go here' command. Worked for me when it's happened at least. I usually assign them a bed very close to it too to prevent it happening again.

I got the impression that the ONLY function those traders had was to raise settlement Happiness. Whenever I talk to any of them, even during regular business hours is "I just want to trade some things."

This has happened to me a few times. If one settler won't allow me to barter, I assign them to a different task and pick another settler to run the store, and that usually works for me.

Nope, I barter with my gun chick all the time. I'm assuming it's just something that Beth has to work out a little better

I used a Unique, Named Settler at Sanctuary for my Weapons Store.

He has never once actually gone to the Store.

However, I can indeed purchase Weapons from him anywhere he happens to be in the Settlement.
