Personal Perk Experience & Usefullness

Agree. Strength has too many modding and weapon-focused perks and not enough perks that have utility and play up the strength fantasy. I'm writing up a revamp for the perks and will post it soon, hopefully next week. May get into modding and make it actually come true.

Mine used to be scrounger until i found out it doesn't work for shells or .44 ammo.

Idiot Savant because that sound effect.

and Toughness because all the coolest looking clothes/armor have no damage protection.

I'm lvl 30 and went on my first aquatic stroll last night. Is there a specific reason aquavit advocates find this perk so compelling? I found the water prett barren for all that rad exposure

I don't know if I could even do a play through without armored an gun nut / blacksmith (depending on combat style). There's just no sub for getting the mods you need when you want them.

Next play through I'll likely lose my "all 4s" special approach and focus more perception agility luck.

Idiot Savant is clearly the best perk.

Why? Because it get every other perk faster with less point investment than int 10 and because there is no level cap, leveling speed is the only thing that matters. On top of that luck has better perks than int. Luck also affects your dps while int doesn't.

Agility also has bunch of good perks but agi gets significant power boost if it gets coupled with heavy luck usage. 10mm has low ap cost, doesn't require perks to get all the mods and you can put a silencer on it.

Str has melee dmg, extra carry weight but are these really worth it when you can just be a sneaking alcoholic doing steroids all day long?

Perception and endurance are kinda bad because they lack really good perks. Lockpick is nice but unlocking stuff merely gives extra stimpaks and ammo (and ez romancing) and the player is pretty much drowning on those stuff already. Power armor kinda makes endurance pointless.

Charisma only has lone wanderer. What a joke.
