Medicine Bobblehead Troubles

Post » Sat Dec 12, 2015 8:28 am

So in order for the quest "Hole in the wall" to trigger, you must have completed "Here kitty kitty" and once you return to vault 81 after retrieving the cat, the quest triggers. Unfortunately for me, Colt Holmes is the individual who triggers the quest with dialogue. When I first discovered the vault, I went to talk to an individual, but missed the target and accidentally stole an item. The whole vault turned on me, so I killed whoever was a threat to me. Colt Holmes happened to be one of them. So now I think I am stuck and will never be able to access the Medicine Bobblehead as I cant get the quest to trigger. I'll mention that I play on the Ps4 so I have to way to retrieve it with console commands. Is anyone else stuck in my predicament? Does anyone know of a solution? I am way to high of a level to load a previous save and go from there, so that isn't an option for me. Thank you for anyone who takes the time to reply with any helpful info, or discussions.

Ouch, had something similar happen in fallout 3 when megaton mysteriously vaporised, wasn't until near the end of my play through I found out there was a bobble head in there.

hope you find a work around

... you killed everyone because you accidentally stole something?

Anyway, Holt Combes isn't the one to trigger the quest. If you've triggered the quest, you can head straight to the infirmary and see Austin (although random vault dwellers will mention that Austin got bitten by a Mole Rat, and you'll get a misc objective at that point). If not, you may have to also give Dr. Forsythe a blood sample or talk to Katy's class to help trigger it.

But uh, killing a ton of people in there might have screwed you over. Just saying.

I accidentally stole something in Good Neighbor, and the robot that sells weapons and armor was one of the unintended victims of me shooting my way out of the place. Gone forever, RIP Kleo.
