[REQ]Disease and Poison Overhauls

I believe I am not the only one who thinks diseases and poison are not handled in a good way in Oblivion... What do I care if I catch a disease, I just drink a cheap potion or cast a simple spell and it is gone. I do not even know what any of the diseases do, it's all the same... just a minor annoyance and certainly nothing to be afraid of. Poison is even worse... I do not even know when I am poisoned, there is no visual indication of it and I can't remember any situation where it was some kind of a problem... as poisons can have many effects they are basically indistinguishable from spell effects and so I never even know when to use a cure poison potion - I think to this day I never used even once in Oblivion. That was very different in Morrowind - poisons here were deadly and distracting, as they quickly drained the player's health and came with a graphics effect that partially blocked the view.

So I would really like to have a mod (or two) that takes care of these issues and makes both diseases and poison interesting and challenging game elements. I would like diseases to have several stages, more serious effects, and most of all I want them to be more difficult to cure... no more "one potion to cure them all" - each disease requires a very specific mix of ingredients, and the more advanced the disease, the more you need to cure them, and the more time it takes - no more instant curing: mild diseases require at least one night of rest to get out of the system, even with the correct medicine, more serious illnesses can take longer, and have actual consequences like permanent attribute loss (which, of course, can be restored...). Also, advanced diseases weaken the player considerably and can have visual impacts as well... blurry vision, blackouts, seeing everything overly bright or in the wrong colors (should be possible with OR shaders, though I have no idea, how); maybe acustic ones, too: make the player hear sounds, or even voices, or maybe impair his hearing, until he is completely deaf (don't know if this is possible, though), or whatever else one can think of. I don't know how much of this is possible and I certainly don't have the skills do make these things myself (yet... though right now I don't know if I will be able to learn all that would be required for this to happen), but I thought I'd just spill out some ideas... Yes, I may have done something like this once or twice before with some other ideas, but well, maybe some day I'll be able to make at least some of them become reality.

Anyway, for poisons I would at least like to have a visual indication that I am poisoned, like blurry vision or a tinted screen or a poison cloud or whatever... just something that tells me in an immersive way "take a cure poision potion NOW!" Well, that, and have poisons actually have effects that make it necessary to use the potion.

I realize that there already are a few mods that change diseases and their curing. The http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/34564/? sounds like a good start, though it might not go far enough. looks really interesting, but I can't find it anywhere. http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/25835/?, on the other hand might be as close to what I have in mind as it gets, and I will try it out for sure. Any chance to make it work with Oblivion Reloaded?

Poison, on the other hand, seems to be pretty much neglected by modders... Sure, there are mods which make poisons more dangerous, but so far I could not find a mod which gives an indication as to when I am poisoned at all... there is the http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/12568/? mod, which I like a lot, but it only adds an effect to creatures and it only shows up the moment they are poisoned and does not last the entire duration of the poisoning.

Are there any good disease or poison mods I missed? I hope some day I'll get around to learn how to make mods like this... I am only good at graphics things so far and at the moment I am unfortunately not in the right state of mind for making mods in general, though I hope this will change, soon.
