I am Nordic so I chose Aela to be my wife, Hroar and Runa to be my son and daughter.
They are all Nordic.

My current character has a mod spouse, and no children. The only character I had that adopted children married Marcurio and and adopted Lucia and Blaise.
My only married characters are a Dunmer and a Redguard. The former needed a mod to have same-race chiildren, and the latter has none.
Lots of them adopted the Hearthfires beggars, Sophie and Lucia, because they needed a home, but stayed single.
And I also have a few Orcs who built my Stronghold mod, and have its adopted Orc child.
That should probably be "spouse and children," don't you think?
Anyway, none of my characters have gotten married yet. I tend to give my characters so many personal flaws that no NPC ever wants anything to do with them. "Go away!" they shout, whenever one of my characters approaches an NPC and tries to initiate conversation. In other words, it's a lot like the reactions I get from people in real life.
I had one character to marry, just to try it out, and it was to the Breton at the temple in Markarth. No character has married since and I have all of the children in the game disabled.
Not if you haven't noticed that you're allowed to change race and gender when you create your character. You'd probably be wearing that silly horned hat, too.
None of my characters are married atm
Rozag will marry...and in the Orc Tradition will have more than one wife... he will also have multiple children, Orc children from mods... he is building his stronghold ( mod) so that he may attract the best Orc females.
Akemmi is a DiD character and because of her backstory will not marry at all
Kaylea ( DiD) is for the http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1562436-holiday-games/page-1... and will head back to the North Pole after Christmas...so won't be marrying anyone... ( adopt children...yep... more than one...)
Tanith will marry a Mod follower and may have children sometime, but not for a very long time.
My first character married Ysolda, then he adopted that boy from Solitude stables and a girl form Whiterun, then i felt really [censored] because i left my family all home all the time to go adventuring even though i did not really need to, so my current character is not married and will probably not get married any time soon, the other reason is that a good story needs a romance and a hero who is married looses that romantic tension, married people tend to avoid danger if they can help it, since it's no longer just them that are in jeopardy, my character will only marry before i retire him.
Only one of my characters married. My Breton spellsword married Roggi Knot-Beard. No actual kids in-game (who can stand them?) but post-game I guess it could be a thing.
I've often considered my Dragonborn adopting human children to take on as apprentices but a lichified cat-elf would probably make for a bad parent. I guess Jordis could be their nanny and do the actual parenting while he just focuses on giving them a [censored]ing manor to live in and an education in business and magic? Maybe it could be one of those modded Khajiit children. Eh, probably not.
Person after my own heart - I don't want all that crap in my games. I play games to get AWAY from RL, not drag it behind me.
Let's see...
Omar, my Imperial married Moth. No kids during game, but after several years they do.
Sorgis got married to Roggi, one kid post game.
Luro married Tullius, three kids post game.
And so on...
Hmm, actually most of my guys end up marrying after a while, gives them more of a reason to make it home, plus battle couples are the best.
Oh boy, that kid is going to be spoiled!
On this playthrough, my character married Lydia. I never really found her all that unique, and I'm not a particular fan of all the noble housecarl stuff. But she's been with me since day one this time and she grew on me for some reason. I have a spell sword this time, and the combo works nicely. On the real hard stuff, I just duck behind Lydia and keep Healing Hands going. No kids. YET.
Wife: Brelyna Maryon.
Children: Blaise & Lucia. They were the first I came across that wanted to be adopted. All orphans need care and love. I'd adopt more if I could.
Did the "marriage" thing with a couple of my characters, hooked up with Lydia both times, adopted Lucia and Alesan after a while it got really annoying listening to "Yes,My Love" or "I Think I'll Open A Store" so I moved all of them into Lakeview and said..."I'm going adventuring, see ya later" and have never returned.I lived in Breezehome again all alone and thankful for the peace and quiet Lydia and the children got the house, the car and all the bank accounts. Marriage in Skyrim is not for the faint of heart,I'd rather face a dozen Deathlords and a couple of Legendary Dragons all at once than hear "My Love" one more time........
Wife - Serana
Kids - Lucia and Maisha (Khajiit mod)
The only time I married (had to see what that was all about ion the game), Aela was my bride. I could not resist the side-boob
I have adopted quite a few times, though. I seem to always end up with Lucia and Sofie. I can not say "No!" to them when they ask me to be their parent
Ah, one of my kids is Lucia...the other is the kid from Whiterun, I think. Starts with B?
my khajitt doesn't have a wife, but i do have all of the dlc's (for pc), i do plan on building my own house (if possible in the snow up in the mountains), i might have my character adopt some children.
