I have been playing Skyrim Ledgendary Edition for a little over a year. I have been playing Skyrim from the disk. I had been having interface problems most of that time - the interface freezing at merchants or chests or while looting a foe. maybe about 50% of the time. Anyway, I read that if I install the game and clear the cache, the interface problems become less frequent. So, I installed the game to the HD. Now, the whole game won't load. I get to the black screen with the dragon icon and the press start. But when I press start, there is the usual pop up message - "loading downloadable content, please wait." The whole thing freezes at that point. Can't even access the 360 hub.

Anybody have some productive advice or instruction for me. Help is much appreciated.

you do still have the disc in the tray, right?



IIRC, installing a game to your 360 HDD still requires you to use the disc to play, it just copies some of the files onto the drive to make reading them a little faster
