I've run out of things to do. Help.

I love this game so much but it seems like I'm out of significant quests to play. I mean I have little things like go to said settlement and help them clear off raiders or the little quests for the railroad like set up mila or save a random synth but other than those I don't have anything to do it seems. I can't do brotherhood quests because I destroyed them with the railroad, I already beat the main quest and other than that I can't find any meaningful quests.

The type of quests I'm talking about are quest lines or at least something that involves a lot of exploring in a location and conversations, so why do I just have these meaningless quests left to do? Don't tell me I've already done all the significant quests and content of the game or have I? That can't be it.. Can someone maybe help me out here ad tell me what I have left to do? Thanks.

Start a new character, and adopt an entirely different playstyle. ;)

That's what's great about Bethesda games, Multiple playthroughs are rarely ever the same experience.

But working on settlements seems like a never ending task, so that might be a suggestion.

Best bet is to work on your settlements and go scavenging around killing things. Haven't finished the game yet. Or start another save and start over in another faction

- Do three more characters for the other factions (Institute, BoS, and Minutemen)

- Collect everything not nailed down, move them to your favorite settlement and build whatever you want.

- Explore and fight things.

- Collect all the companions in the game. Romance all of them. Equip them in whatever gear/clothing you want.

- When bored/feel like a jerk enough, do everything in your power to piss of every single companion to the point where they walk off on you.

Well, I am about 100 hours in, have finished the main story, and done a bunch of quests. Definitely haven't done all the content myself but most of my time was spent just wandering around, finding locations, both main ones and secondary ones, and just stuff like that. This is a RPG, a lot of the entertainment is in finding stuff to do yourself. Get creative and you will find plenty to do.

I like to outfit the NPCs that I like with better gear which can take a whileto do.

Perhaps take a break from the game?

Have you explored the whole map and talked to all the NPCs to see if they give you work? I found more quests each time I played and I've played 3. If you truly can't find more quests can go to Fallout wiki and see if you missed any.
