Any ideas on how to customize your own ending?

I haven't gotten to the ending yet but I can see there will be no satisfactory endings.

I wanted to put a bullet in Father's head from the first sentence but really would like to be able to inhabit the comfy digs of the Institute and don't mind SOME of the people. I would like to be able to kill Maxsom, get rid of the abomination Liberty Prime, but keep the Prydwen and most of the BOS intact.

I thought I would go with the RR since at least they have a sense of humor and some compassion. But when Desdemona callously told me to waste Liam, the guy that's helped them up to this point, I decided she needs to go too. But I like all the other RR folks.

I'm certain this can be done with console codes even if it is not perfect. Is it possible to set yourself to not be attacked by an entire faction you have offended without having to do a console command on every member of the faction?

setally <0 or 1> <0 or 1> Makes two factions friendly with each other. 0=friend, 1=ally

setenemy <0 or 1> <0 or 1> Makes two factions enemies with each other. 0=neutral, 1=enemy
AddToFaction <0 or 1> Adds target to faction, needs to be used with a prefix or target, e.g player.AddToFaction 0001c21c 1 to add yourself to the player faction. 0=friend, 1=ally.
Haven't tried any of these, not sure how they will work or what will happen to your main quest if you do these before it is finished.
Brotherhood of Steel 0005de41
The Institute 0005e558
Minutemen 00068043
Railroad 000994f6
Player 0001c21c

I am going to give these a whirl, thank you. I did a much simpler thing like this with Concord. I didn't like that my choices were either to leave the poor girl in jail to be tortured or to wipe the entire Concord settlement of interesting, albeit quirky, people only to have them replaced with dull generic settlers. So I went to the compound, refused the doc's offer, killed her and her guard, freed Stockton's daughter, then I resurrected the doc and her guard and COC'd out of there. I know Concord is probably hostile right now but I figure I can try some of the console codes you put to fix that and then everybody is happy.
