dimonized type 3

Post » Sun Jun 20, 2010 2:25 am

i just installed the type 3 body mod and everyone is wearing black shorts when they're not wearing much else. I see on the nexus forums that other people have enountered this but there's no fix for it. Anyone here that can help?

Aren't people, y'know, supposed to wear underwear?
If you're expecting them not to be it's not an acceptable topic on the Beth forums.

I don't want to go into too much detail, but there are several files that need to be installed in order to work properly. Take some more time to read/reread the readme file to see where you went wrong.

Sounds like the proper body texture wasn't installed. You need those textures whether you use the nvde or Underwear versions of any given body mod.

I've tried a bunch of different texture files, but there's a mesh that goes in data/meshes/characters/_male (upperbodyfemale.nif)
Should that be somewhere else. That seems to be what makes the game load the textures but I'm pretty turned around now and I've just gone back to vanilla bodies

having the same problem. i never had any issues with this mod or archive invalidated or anything for that matter on my xp machine. this is my new win 7 toy and i'm frustrated as hell with it. administrator hell!! anyways, yes same problems and no solutions. the nexus advises toying with the ini file...i can't find it!!! it's not there trust me i looked. another piece of advice was to install somewhere other than program files.i'm never given an option to install fallout in another directory with win 7??? xp ALWAYS offered me the choice of install path so i could change it. and if i try to manually move the entire file to a different place in the C: drive or on the desktop either the program and/or patches from the other expacs can't find it, neither can the archive inv. even though i manually point it TO the fallout file, it says it ain't there. win 7 is frustrating the snot out of me!!(that should be a good thing since i have a hellish cold atm but it's not). i have never had so much trouble or been so frustrated with any puter or o/s till now. maybe i need to play with win 7 more and change some setting or other but i'm getting old and senility is slowly claiming me. i'm having so much trouble with this thing argh!!
if you look on the nexus site, the author of the mod added a comment in the....i forget now i'd have to look, but i think it's in the comments section ironically enough about manually installing archive invalidation prog but nothing he says i could get to work. (the lack of finding the fallout ini thing infact). i did find a file with the bsa files he said i needed assuming it's the right file(it had the bsa files but was not called fallout3/ini), and i tried to pur the line of text he advised to put in, just b4 one of the bsa files i think and it wouldn't let me do it. it put the line above everything else by default and i couldn't move it manually.(i obviously had the wrong file). file searching yielded no results for either of the files i need to find. win 7 will soon be used as TP if i get more frustrated unless i can find an xp mode for it somewhere. anyways i've vented enough magma from my nostrils for 1 day.

We need the MMM fix for Malo's on those same raiders =(

Either that or just have Martigen take out the annoying glitched bodies.

Sorry for slight hijack, but in my game the fix works for most raiders - but not for some. Anyone who knows why that is - and if there's a fix for it?

Increased spawns? I have the same problem. No matter how many times I try to install the raider fix, it only works on some. That's the only thing I can figure on why it only works on some raiders and not others.

I'm not using increased spawns, so that can't be it. I'll check the female MMM raiders in GECK and see if some of them are differently set up than the others.
