Looking for bowling pins...

Post » Wed Dec 16, 2015 4:24 am

I am collecting bowling pins, trying to get a full set. However, I lost a bunch to the "objects falling through surfaces" glitch, they disappeared below the floor of Red Rocket and are gone forever. Anyone know where I can find more bowling pins to replace the ones I lost? I don't remember where I got the others from. If you happen to know of a vendor who sells them or a location with bowling pins, I'd appreciate the tip! I was halfway to a full set, but now have to start over. For some reason I am determined to turn that corridor behind the counter in Red Rocket into my own personal bowling lane.

Hubris Comics has several, both standard ones and the "league" variety. They're scattered about the place.

Otherwise, I see them randomly appear in the inventories of various junk merchants. Might be worth a circuit of the map checking in with anyone who sells junk. (Deb, Daisy, Carla, etc.)

Might also be worth setting up a level 3 General Trader at one of your settlements. If you recruit the Vault-Tec Rep to man the stand, he sells some slightly more uncommon junk than usual traders. Plus their stock always changes slightly. (I bought my entire suit of heavy leather piece by piece from my standard level 3 Armor vendor. Just had to be patient and keep checking in.)

The General Atomics Galleria, some way east of Sanctuary. You'll know it when you see it.

Mild spoiler warning for the Galleria ---- until you "fix" it, be wary of seemingly innocuous robot requests.

Yes, the bowling alley at the galleria. I too, have plans for a bowling alley.

Don't listen to Sorpaijen. Talk to the robots. They are just being friendly!

I loved that place when I first found it. Didn't guess that you could fix it until much later when I went there again and was more thorough. Very fun area. found it on my 2nd or 3rd day of playing.
