Increasing rain occlusion distance

Post » Wed Dec 16, 2015 12:34 pm

Hey there. The game has a "box", roughly 4x4, if you want to use settlement floor pieces as the measurement, in which rain occlusion works properly when standing inside a shack / outside interior. If a single 'room' in a structure within a settlement is built larger than this, when standing at the far end of a room/hallway/whatever rain will pour through the roof roughly 4 'grids' away. Moving forward and back, one can see the occlusion following them in this bounding box.

This is normally not visible if you have walls and such in your interior, or if you're not using a rain mod. My recent mod, True Storms, highlights this issue now that rain is much more visible.

My question is, are there any Game Settings or INI settings that can be altered to expand this occlusion radius? I dug through them and couldn't find anything obvious.

Thank you!
