Every time the graphic driver (Nvidia) is updated it screws up the resolution. The last it updated it really did a number on it and I'm still trying to fix it. I finally got it back to the correct resolution and had to verify the caches and re-run to create the pref.ini files. Got Fallout 4 done but when I try to do Skyrim, well ...

I do the verify thing through Steam then launch Skyrim to rebuild the pref.ini file. It asks me if I want to run it, I say okay and it tried to launch the game. When I finally turn it off (using task manager) the settings created are not correct. Can anyone help me here?
