I had somehow already found a Talos pendant so when I spoke to Sivri (sp?) in Solitude to get her mother to go back to the temple I went to her mother's house and I can't finish the quest. It won't remove the Talos pendant from my inventory or remove the quest.

I read a Wiki about this but I can't use console commands on a 360 so is there any way around this?

I restored it to a previous save where I haven't even talked to the girl yet. I tried to find Rogvyr in the catacomb but couldn't find him.

Is this a permenent bug in the 360?

It is typically wise to not have any amulets of Talos in your inventory when picking up this quest. And it is on ALL platforms. Permanent? Depends I think on how far back before.

Thanks, so now I have TWO Talos pendants in my inventory and can't get rid of either one.

There's a list of bugs a mile long in the 360, I used to play on the PC and at least with it you can console command the bugs away but not so with a 360.

I'll have to live with it in my inventory forever.

As I recall once you pick up a Talos amulet it registers as a quest object even before this quest starts I think I recovered the amulet from Roggvir's bloody corpse as soon as he lost his head and before I knew anything about any quest involving it (my char is very light fingered so...) and was acutally unremovable after that point as I recall. I think I succesfully removed it and the excessive amulets once I'd handed it to Greta but I do have the unofficial patches installed.

I've picked up quest items in the past too Habt's remains I think it is (I still have no idea who or what he is) but I'm stuck with his bloody skull and Wylandriah's soul gem without knowing who or what a Wylandriah was.

How do I install unofficial patches on a 360?

Anyway, just now as a matter of fact I did this, I spoke to the daughter, met her mother and said I have one. Then I pickpocketed her and gave her a Talos amulet.
But I still have that in my quest list so it'll never leave the list.
I wish Betheseda would fix all these bugs but I guess they have too many other things going on with Fallout 3 1/2, I mean 4.
