Moderation, New Faces and Old : Othor Games

Hi everyone, I’m Hungry Donner and I’m the newest admin on these forums. Gstaff recently tapped me to take point managing Bethesda’s forum moderation here and on the Elder Scrolls Online forums, and I wanted to take a second to say hello. Some of you already know me; I’ve been a member here for a while, although I’ve mostly lurked the past few years.

Any big changes coming? Not really, but to help bring some alignment to the two forums I’ve asked the ESO mods to pitch in over here. There are some things both sides can learn from the other, and it made more sense to bring them together here rather than the ESO forums. The new mods are being given a separate title, “Community Moderator,” but the two groups are on equal footing, and will be working side-by-side. This in no way is an attempt to replace the current moderators, they're a fantastic bunch and I expect they'll handle the majority of moderation here.

I’m happy to answer any questions. However, please remember that any questions about specific moderation needs to be kept to PM, we don’t allow these matters to be discussed publicly on the forums.

Hungry Donner, do you have any information about when we will be moving to the new forums? I think many of us were expecting the changeover to happen back in August.

Having just doubled the number of moderators here, I didn't want anyone fearing an invasion.

Not at this time, we'll have more information next year.

Do we have most timezones covered off at this point in terms of moderator schedules. I know for the most part, you are all unpaid volunteers so you moderate as you please, but i'm sure you have a rough schedule?
