And you're basing this on what extensive breadth of information? I didn't realize that a full list of creatures had already been released. Regardless, mods which add an absurd amount of creatures that probably wouldn't fit in Skyrim's environment would detract from the game, not add onto it.

I doubt they'd give away all the monsters in the first preview.

Okay, I'll give you that. The variety of motors is likely on the low side.

Uhhh... I'm pretty sure they're not going to show every single creature in the game in a 14 page article.

The sound of tastiness.

As long as they are tailored to Skyrim it would be nice. Besides I expect a ton of creatures regardless.

I agree with the others. I'd also like to point out that I like what I see, so far, however. Those ice wraiths look cool.

Okay, there are legitimate issues, like not being happy with the smaller skill list. There are kneejerk-but-still-kind of-understandable issues, like level-scaling.

And then there's this.

We have absolutely no reason to believe that the monsters seen in the preview are an exhaustive list of all the enemies in the game. None whatsoever. Complaining about the lack of diversity now is just silly.

Erm, a little too early to tell. But if you're expecting over a hundred different monsters using dozens and dozens of models the community has managed to put together over the years, then you probably will. I'm sure we'll have a decent great looking bestiary, but there's a limit to that.

You just can't compete with thousands of people working for free over many years of modding with a limited amount of artists working around a schedule and under a budget.

You have no idea how many enemy types there are in the game, making this thread a waste of time.

Not nearly enough information to make any claims as to the number and variety (or lack) of creatures and wildlife. As I recall they did not mention rats; which would clearly be in. Just as any number of other creatures. GI just picked a few of the more unusual ones you may meet on your travels.

To start talking about the need for Martigen's Monster Mod is rather premature. Let's just see what the devs have in store for us in the months to come and then see if Martigen wants to expand on it or not ;)

Greetz,
