I've been gone for the better part of a year and have come back just today. However, I noticed that only on these forums I'm getting pop up ads, like videos playing that can only be closed after ten seconds. Is this happening for anyone else? This is definitely not happening on other websites so I'm a little confused.

Update: Also random words and numbers are being highlighted, offering to take me to different links.

I haven't encountered any ads on this board so far. *shrugs*

I've never had that happen to me on here. Hmm. Could it be a virus on your end? I'm not the tech type so I could be wrong.

More than likely, my family have adopted this machine, but it's strange that it only happens here. Still, I'll begin the process of weeding out any potential threats from the computer.
