You don't exist, who wins

He's only a recall code away from being turned by Institute, which they could even do over a radio broadcast. Highly doubt he was RR, that is quite a stretch, and even if we entertain the remote possibility that he was, is a RR "freed" synth even truly free? Or could the Institute again, still override with a recall code?

How?

The Institute primarily uses in-house reactors for their power needs, tapping into outside sources only when necessary. And you're assuming that the Brotherhood knows that the Institute does that- for all they know, the Institute has a big 'ol underground power reactor that provides them with more than "enough" power.

The problem is that Maxon literally says that the RF waves are too sporadic and short lived for them to be of much use. Yes, they can work on trying to narrow that down... but when it is the tell-tale sign of teleportation, there's not much they can do without some super-genius in their ranks.

Meh. Whoever detonates enough nukes.

War is a game in which NOBODY wins.

If they could just recall synths via radio whenever they want, they'd have done so with the raider you're sent to find, and Coursers would be out of a job. At best, they might be able to shut Danse down, but there is no evidence that they can remotely boot him up again with the mindset that he should attack his brothers and sisters.

Asked myself that question as well, and I figure they sent you to retrieve Gabriel to test and observe your willingness to follow the Institute. Also, it would not be plausible to just shut down a synth via recall code over the radio, especially in the case of Danse. The Coursers would need to retrieve him covertly and return to base for reprogramming to occur. On an interesting note as well, there are no radios to be found on the Prydwen, Boston Airport, or Cambridge Police Station -- which is neat since it shows attention to detail on Bethesda's part.

Disagree. The Brotherhood would never discover the "entrance" without the player. So the institute could use their teleporter to destroy the brotherhood in hit and run raids. Hell if they had any tactical sense they could just teleport a nuke poof brotherhood problem gone.

Control of the skies is as pointless as calvary power in WWII when the enemy can arrive anywhere in the Commonwealth at an instance notice.

Example they teleport to a building a block away from the airport set up a low yield nuke (not a mini nuke) and boom the brotherhood is dead. What is worse is that all the prep work to set the bomb off could be done a hundred miles away or more then teleported to the sight and boom no long countdown needed to let people escape just set it for 10 seconds and poof you are gone and so is teh brotherhood.

What defence is there against this? The BOS can't win without the player because they have openly declared themselves enemies of the institution without taking steps to HIDE from the institute's retaliation.
