Need Suggestion Box

Post » Sat Dec 19, 2015 10:07 am

Enclosed are a few suggestions. I was unable to find a forum for suggestion box so I figure this will have to do. Enjoy!

Settlement Additions

  1. Windows and skylights
  2. Breakdown or Repair damaged (not destroyed) houses
    1. OR Raise the ceilings in the prewar houses so we can add floors, walls, and ceilings.
  3. Add Ability to Build Workshops
    1. OR Build workshops at Concord, Lexington, Cambridge, and similar places
  4. Ask settlers to sweep, rake, prune, and/or repair post fallout damage
  5. Extend Sanctuary Hills boundary to include Vault 111
    1. OR place a workshop there
  6. Bunk Beds
  7. Potted Plants on furniture
  8. Desk lights on furniture
  9. Sinks
  10. Showers
  11. Refrigerators
  12. Nicer Carpets
  13. Make the fountain statue functional
  14. Fire Extinguishers
  15. Steel walls with curved bases for linking to hills
  16. Break down huge oak in the middle of the turnabout in Sanctuary Hills
  17. Break down the telephone poles and gas nozzles in Red Rocket
  18. Break down the metal dividers around the store in Starlight Drive in
  19. Add breakdown of “broken wing” of concession stand in Starlight drive in
  20. Add ability to move Workshops within its own perimeter
  21. Reduce the green haze around wall paintings so you can see what you are handing
  22. Add a resize option to carpets, rugs, and paintings

BUGS:

  1. There is an invisible Maple tree behind the last “Halloween house” on the left side of the road in Sanctuary Hills in front of a smaller pine.
  2. My weapon disappears at random intervals without any noticeable trigger when in first person. (can be overridden by going from first to third and back again.)
  3. Legendary enemies, mines, and traps do not reset when reloading a save point.
  4. There is a tree laying against the house with the root cellar that cannot be removed and provides a path of ingress into Sanctuary Hills that cannot be blocked off.
  5. There is a picket fence behind the last destroyed house in Sanctuary Hills that cannot be removed so you see a random section of fence just chilling in a field when out of workshop mode.
  6. There is a picket fence post stuck in a red hedge that cannot be touched behind a yellow house in Sanctuary Hills.

  1. There is a stand of trees on a rock outcropping that cannot be broken down in Sanctuary Hills despite being inside of the perimeter.
    1. There is a piece of guard rail in Red Rocket inside of the perimeter that cannot be broken down.
    2. There are similar trees and trunks in Starlight Drive in and Tenpines Bluff that too cannot be broken down.
  2. There is not enough food in Sanctuary to accommodate the first set of people you take there.
  3. There is a car under the “broken wing” at the concession stand and Starlight Drive that cannot be broken down.
  4. Magazine racks are fillable furniture, but book shelves are not. There is no transfer option.

Oh... sorry.. I thought "Suggestion Box" at your settlement, not for settlement building to Beth!

Can't disagree with you though. I would like a lot of what you're noting.

I'd love it if they placed workbenches all over the place so you could scrap EVERYTHING! I mean, honestly, can you imagine how many resources you could get if you could scrap just Concord?

I always feel awful that I can't do anything with all those abandoned vehicles around or the equipment attached to buildings.

The forums are a great place for suggestions. And assuming there are no spoilers, this is the best forum for FO4 suggestions. You can also submit them http://help.bethesda.net/app/fallout_feedback, but the forums have the benefit of allowing discussion of everyone's ideas.

FWIW, you can block ingress from that fallen tree into Sanctuary. Just carefully place some walls on top of and around the tree. It doesn't look anything close to realistic, but it can keep toons from jumping onto the roof.

I'd like to see buildable walls that can clip through the ground, (like the bottom of the shack floor foundation can) and stack on top of each other (as far as settlements go) so I can build a nice wall over uneven areas without floating walls or odd gaps. been trying to do that TCL trick, but it doesn't seem to allow my walls to go through the ground.

I say place mines on it. Plasma mines. And traps. Lots of traps. And a heavy machine gun turret. Hook it to a terminal and make sure that it takes out anything that comes near it.
