Can someone tell me why only Gunners, Raiders and other bad guys can have these robots as security for thier settlements? What robots we have in our settlements can only run around tending plants or other mundane jobs, (serving you beer).

I wanted to craft my own robots with science, I still hope they add a feature like that in a DLC, a robot of any kind I am not picky, just let me craft it and mod it with a high intelligence perk Beth. :sadvaultboy:

Yeah it would be nice to get robots to man the defences and get more robots to work the fields. Bring back the civilisation where the survivors can just hammer randomly at the walls of their homes! :P

I love the idea! And y stop at just a guardian? How about a racing bot? A build your own follower u can upgrade? An option to capture and build your own army of sinths?

Mod exists for the PC - http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/5787/? - it works perfectly!

Can even spawn medics and brewer bots.

It would be a great way to spend all those late-game caps you accumulate- Hell, make Sentry Bots like 100,000 caps at the top of the scale, Assaultrons 75k, Gutsys 50k, Handys 25k and so on...

Great DLC add-on for those who figured out and chose to game Bethesda's in-game economy and are sitting on mountains of bottlecaps with nothing to spend them on.

Don't need an official DLC - we have mods!

Let Bethesda make full area and quest DLCs.

I meant as just a feature in an overall DLC- With as much focus as Beth put into settlements and in-game economy, I'm sure at least one of the later content will focus on that aspect in part. Some kind of trade-war or something.
