I CANT bring myself to finish the game...

That's like putting a fat kid and a bakery and telling him he can only eat salad. Restraint is tough. I would love a mega hardcoe mode that restricted many things .. Then self control won't matter as you won't have the temptation :)

So temptation and self control are factors that you would not even consider?

It's a Beth game. Those of us who have played for years have had to learn restraint because, as has been pointed out, becoming OP is a real issue with their games. I would guess they are designed that way.

I guess I am lucky. I am able to restrain myself and to set limitations for myself. I don't need the developer to artificially do that for me.

An example would be NV. Survival was fun, but it didn't go far enough. I set additional limits.

Actually you are wrong there. If we are going by your example, we are forcing the kid one way. He can only eat salad. At least with Bethesda games, we are given the options. So by your example the fat kid in the bakery can eat anything he wants. If he wants salad, he can leave and go where there is salad or he can stay and eat treats, or he can stay, get some small treats, and then go where he can eat salad and/or steak. :)

It's nice to have options and do what YOU want and not be forced to play a certain way to get by.

Or, the bakery can also serve salad and the kid doesn't have to go anywhere. It's his choice.

By the way, the game IS easy at level 50 because by that time you should have maxed out all your preferred combat perks. At this point, you can either bite your lip and soldier on, spamming radiant quests, until around 60-65, where I experienced a sudden hike in difficulty. I started seeing 'vampiric' bloodbugs, the first group owned me because prior to that I was using Pickman's Blade and still destroying most of the enemies, then I tried stabbing those things and only did like 5% damage to their health. I heard there is another sharp curve around 80-85 so I'm really looking forward to that. I've done everything I intended on this current save so I am in no hurry to finish the game while the world is still dynamic and exciting.

Im at like 39 right now and its still a bit of a challenge since I spec'ed into all the boring skills first. Im interested in seeing this difficulty spike later in the game though.

Same boat here. I have no issues with any of the factions (though I don't care for the Railroad) so I see no reason to side with any of them. I enjoy helping out as a Minuteman and building up settlements.

I find it more challenging to find wood than Bobbleheads.

How in the world some people finished the game a couple of times already, I feel like I'm super slow compare to them but I also feel like I've been playing the game too bloody damn much :/
I'm level 40 and barely finished anything :)
Probably played for 130-140 hours...

I didn't do everything. Honestly, I didn't do a whole lot.

This time I'm being a completionist and, when I'm done, I'm going back to TES for a while and then back to FO!
