Something weird has happened where I can do what I'm supposed to in the quest, the NPC will tell me the next step, but it won't appear on my pip boy. The green dot stays over the NPC from the previous quest as well. I've tried reloading REALLY old saves and the same thing happens. For instance, I went to find Virgil and the woman told me where he was but the questline still said to talk to her. I ignored that because she didn't give me any new info, found Virgil, he told me what to do, and the quest line still said to find Virgil.

I also found out that when I go to trade with any vendor, it shows both of our inventory as blank and that we both have the same amount of caps. Any ideas? I'm sure as hell not starting the game over and I was already angry enough when I thought I might have to load a 4 hour old save (still didn't work.)
