Hi, I just bought Fallout 4 and an Xbox one from a guy on Craigslist. He sold me a controller where the left button on the D Pad does not work, which means I can't hit left when i'm in the Workshop which means I can't complete missions a lot of the time. I know there's button mapping but there isn't an option for left d pad. Any suggestions other than buying a new controller?

First of all I do suggest that you get a new controller.

I do not recall at the moment if you can use the left thumbstick to cycle through the menus. It has been a while since I went into build mode on the Xbox 1 and I mostly use the D-Pad for menus anyway.
