This problem has happened to me three times now and three times I've had to restart. I play the game, I get killed at some point and then it loads forever. What is the problem with this?

Any other saves to try, and get killed?

By saves you mean characters I've created?

No, i mean all your available saves (even) on the current character.

I do and I just tried an earlier one. It worked but it's from way back

I sometimes get this, or really hindered gameplay. I've noticed that if i load the game myself, instead of the autoload feature, it works better. Basically when you die, hit esc and load manually. Might help.

Can't remember what the "death animation clock" ini setting was, have to set it to a longer time myself.

Make new manual saves along the way. DOn't rely on quicksave or autosave. THat way you won't lose too much progress if you must load an earlier save.

Better option to lose 10 minutes rather than start over.
