Playing with I7-930 overclocked to 3.8. Borderline cpu, but working fine for me on high settings. Occasionally everything just slows down for me at Sanctuary, and only there.
Never happens in Diamond city. I'm not too bothered by it, but would improve it if I could.
I have not built much in Sanctuary. Just some fences and turrets.

I'm just wondering if my huge loot inventory stored there would have any bearing on the slowdowns there? I loot everything, and I have many thousands of items stored in workbench in Sanctuary. Weapons armour etc.
Perhaps better if I just scrapped it all down to steel wood etc?

It seems to me that it might be a help also to scrap every scrappable item in Sanctuary. Everything that can be scrapped. Empty houses etc. everything.
I'm not sure how these things work, so I am only guessing that the game has an easier job not having to remember every tree car fridge etc..

Any advantage in scrapping everything?
