Wait, are you saying you don't think Bethesda got enough money from Skyrim and FO4 sales to work on DLC's? They are not going to make the next 'payroll' if someone doesn't pre-purchase the DLC they haven't made yet? Sorry but Bethesda isn't some startup Indy company. These guys do not need the Season Pass money. I imagine that dreaming up ways to spend the money they have is their biggest problem.

Well the dlcs do keep them having a job, at least the little guys in the company that work on the stuff. From what I heard Season Passes allows devs to keep their job after the game is complete, dlc extends the job for the worker too.

After the amount of revenue they made with Skyrim, I doubt Bethesda faces any fiscal constraints of great note.
