Now its official, I have been killed more by the stupid vertibirds than the ground based version the supermutant has, that is even if I'm member of BoS.

It might be safer to become hostile with BoS so I can shoot them down far away.

Now they killed most of the pilar of comunity group while I was talkng to them, first time they got me too.

Because of this I downloaded the stronger Vertibirds mod from Nexus. I've saved countless BOS lives in doing so...which makes me feel a little less bad about ganking all those suits of T-60 power armor from them.

It depends on how far you got in the game if you do not do the main quest that triggers the BoS you do not have to worry about the Vertibirds. I have not gotten that far in any of my characters but I have seen how the Vertibirds work in some lets play videos.

Since I tend to have a certain companion around I get attacked by the vetibirds on occasions. Not much of a challenge, I bring them down with a modded 10mm! The suiciders on the other hand, I died more than a few times to them, mostly when I exist some buildings and they are nearby!
