I am currently doing the Special Delivery Quest, and i am up to the part where i have to collect the "package", which is located on one of the raiders. The problem i'm having is that the quest marker is pointing at a spot where there is nothing there whatsoever and the pointer does not have the distance numbers displayed when i'm close to it either. The raider's bodies are located elsewhere and none of them had the package on them, and therefore i'm assuming the quest pointer is glitched, which means i unable to complete the quest.

What i know so far:

* I accidently went to creamery first before talking to the mercenary leader who tells me to kill the raiders.

* Because i went to the creamery first, i decided to run from the raiders so i could talk to the mercenary first.

* When i went to go back to the creamery after talking to the mercenary leader, a firefight was occuring between the raiders and a courier/protetction bot which resulted in a truck exploding.

* The truck that exploded was on the south side of the creamery on the road between the creamery and asylum

* The quest pointer points to a spot on the east side of the creamery where you end up after fast travelling to the creamery.

* There is nothing anywhere near the quest pointer what so ever.

* All 4 raider bodies are south of the creamery between it and asylum.

Can anyone help me fix this problem? i can supply more info relevant to this issue if needed.

My guess would be either return to a previous save if able or fast travel home, rest a week and return and hope your raiders reset to where they need to be.

Ok, i waited a week as you suggested, and there is no difference at all, and i have no previous save that goes back that far. I really want to do this quest, but it still bugged, so can anyone help me?

Note: the quest pointer points below my current position, which tells me that the target has fallen below the map (glitched supposedly).

Yeah, it's always best to make a permanent save before undertaking a quest.. You really have no idea what could go wrong. I've screwed up quests simply by trying to initiate a conversation before I was 'supposed to" . You can really easily screw up the scripts in some of these simply by doing something out of order or performing an action too quickly. I do a lot of just standing around now in quests.. making sure that all the scripts that are supposed to have fired off have done so.

"ok, everybody done talking? Everybody perform all their actions that they were supposed to.?".. alrighty, here I go.. I'm going to move now." .. "oop, nope, you weren't done, apparently I needed to take a step forward there,.. alright go ahead.. do your thing."

I understand and have learnt from this mistake. I still would like to know if there is anyway to complete this quest, or even restart it/abandon it.
