Ive played Skyrim for hundreds of hours and have always shut down fast travel except by vehicles.....i found a mod a while ago called Skyrim Wayshrines

Basically the player finds shrines all over skyrim and activates them and then he can teleport to the shrines he has activated......thats what id like to request..something along them lines.

Vertibird are practically this. Or use the institute teleporter.

The BoS get you Vertibird that will pick you up and take you to any location you've discovered, and the Institute use the mass relay that is basically a teleporter.
