USS Constitution quest

Came across this ship in a house just around a corner ("almost a snack around every corner in this game"), and the synth detective companion commented repeatedly more than 30 times something about what is worse the fact there is a ship in a house or that there still is.

Had to google this thing a couple of times: to find the entrance and there was something peculiar with the quest trackers (got a lot of opening trackers after visiting every quest opener in Diamond City and Goodneighbor before exploring the wasteland) while on the ship. For example in a youtube video they clearly displayed those "cables" that required repairs. But simply after quitting the game and restarting it, the quest trackers were there. Funny though that when starting the game this time there was a complete new video with "disgusting" details about endurance in the wasteland. Maybe the game gets trouble with lots of game-reloads. For example after figuring out that scavengers would board, instead of siting up in Power Armor it seems possible to just mine the entrance to the ship which worked, because then the quest didn't fail.

Finally when opening up auxiliary power in a house close by, you get to see an overview of the city with this huge ship flying out and crushing into a tall building. There wasn't anything graphically this big in New Vegas Fallout. ... Perhaps later it is possible to revisit those bots in the new building.

you can visit them at the new location right away actually. or if you were quick enough you could have gotten back onto the ship before it took off. that way you would have gone with them to the new location.

Loved this quest, it'd be great if you could carry on helping them and eventually they got away.

I've yet to see anyone ride it safely to the new building. They ended up the same as me: dropping to our deaths before it lands on the building. Oddly enough, most did it in PA and still died from the drop.

:P

I loved the quest, but it didn't have to send me to Corvega factory :(
