Ambient music mod

Post » Mon Jan 11, 2016 12:25 am

I'm a console gamer but, would love it if someone could do a mod that gets rid of all the ambient music tracks and replaces then with Fallout 3's please?

I realised this is one of the things that if ruining the Fallout feel for me. The ambient music is terrible, it is so off feel it is a disgrace.
Those violins don't feel right and the bloody accordion...

It very much feels and sound too Skyrim most of the time.
I loved the bleak feel of Fallout 3's music so please, please, please, somebody make this happen!

I can't be the only one who has noticed this. Just imagine how much better the game would feel!

I'm afraid that you won't be able to get mods on your console until the official Bethesda-approved platform for distributing mods goes live, which is going to take months. And even so, they don't allow anyone to use assets from other games, including their own, in mods. For what it's worth, the sound design is good enough that you can mute the music and still have a very pleasant experience.

Yeah, I know, I should have stated, once modding is uo and running on console.

I thought it was around Jan for mods? :(

So, even though F3 is in the Fallout series, Bethesda own it AND you got F3 free via digital download with F4 they'd prevent you using it?!

The mind boggles... Ooooh well...

I feel the ambient F3 added to the atmosphere n more so and having none took some away.

I can see me turning the music off and playing recorded F3 ambient music through my studio system.
I'm THAT desperate! Hahaha

Thanks though man :)
