Console player hoping that some kind of mods become available to us...

Would love to have a simple mod of a Boston Rad Sox (get it,Rad Sox?) baseball cap.

Perhaps an old school style ball cap with a simple R on the front.

Indeed sir, welcome to the real TES/FALLOUT. Might not be as crazy on console, cause it's been super crazy the last 6 years, LOL. But idk why that wouldn't filter down to everyone else in the world. There's always a lot of tactial, whoa, an WHAT though. o/

I have my doubts it will happen. MLB has already engaged lawyers to take down other baseball items. Kind of amusing, since its the only way I'd have even heard about the team since I dont follow baseball.

I think the Commonwealth Rad Sox would fall under satire and not risk copyright violation...

So long as the logo used couldn't be misinterpreted as the real-world company logo, and no real-world named players were included in any text or as NPC's (except as references to long-dead players who are long-dead in the real world, perhaps?) then I doubt if MLB would trouble themselves.

Where things might get iffy is if MLB decided an in-game logo or team colours were too similar to theirs, and send a cease and desist letter. That would be their judgement call. Unless a modder has the money and inclination to defend themselves in court, then MLB could shut a mod down very easily, and without necessarily evaluating the context or degree of supposed 'infringement' with any great care.
