so i've always credit checked my way in, how/where/from whom do i get a passport so i don't have to deal with the bots every time i want to enter

i use the monorail to get in, use NCR armor to fool them into letting you pass if they don't like you enough.

Have a high speech skill and get a counterfeit passport from the merchants on the east side of Freeside. Both of them have a secret stash that you can access with high enough speech.

Do some work for "The King". One of the rewards you can pick is a passport for getting into the strip.

You can obtain a counterfeit passport in Freeside I believe, go into Mick & Miguel's Gun Shop (I think that's the name)(East entrance to Freeside maybe?) and talk to the guy who doesn't sell guns. I forget whether it's Mick or Miguel. Talk to him, and if you have a high enough Speech skill you can convince him to give you a fake passport.

I'm assuming that passport lets you in with less than 2000 chips.
