Level 34, still grinding out endless Minutemen tasks...

A settler at Red Rocket Truck Stop instructed me to go and secure Croup Manor - ie this was a "clear-and-activate-new-settlement" mission.

I cleared the location, activated the workbench and received the usual Pip-boy dialogue to "report success to settlers at Red Rocket", etc. However, when i now go to Red Rocket, none of the settlers - including the one who i think gave me the mission - will offer the "completion" dialogue that normally precedes the "go tell preston" stage.

I've waited a day or two, gone away and come back, gone back to Croup Manor again, gone direct to preston, etc - but nothing has so far triggered the mission end.

Has anyone found a fix for this bug? I'd ignore and continue, but I'd quite like to use Croup Manor as a base.

I take it this was a "Clear the way for Red Rocket Truck Stop" mission. If thats the case there is no reporting back to Preston to gain access to the location. You need to hang around a bit at Red Rocket and hopefully the Settler will find you. Ensure you still have the mission set as active in your Pipboy.
