Power Armor and Companions

Specificly, can we give our companions power armor to use? (Seems weird to send them into the Glowing Sea without protection of some sort......)

Preston and I go there all the time without our power armor. Just bring some Rad-x and Radaway in case it builds up too much.

I'm not sure if your companions can use your power armor. Anyone?

absolutely! drop a core in and engage them. while cursor is still a diamond, point at PA and it will change to "get in power armor"!

be sure it is not blocked on any side as they svck at getting around stuff!

to get them out, engage convo, choose "talk" and you will get choice to "exit PA"

As mentioned above, just look at your companion and click 'command.' Then look at the power armor suit and when it says 'enter power armor' click, and they'll get in. Then have them exit it through the 'talk' option in their dialog tree.

Piper and I love exploring the Glowing Sea in our His and Hers suits of X-01 Mk VI. I've got the Vault-Tec paint on mine, and Piper has a hot pink one. ;)

Ok. So I equipped Piper with a set.... and she promptly destroyed all the component parts in combat.... >.< Note to self..... All companions use copious amounts of Rad-X and so don't need Power Armor to live in high Radiation areas.... >.>

Companions don't seem to want to stay at the maximum range of whatever weapon you equip them with, so PA they're wearing takes a lot of abuse at close range.
