Crazy Legendary drops

Post » Mon Jan 11, 2016 10:59 pm

I swear to god there is a conspiracy in BETH games. I have the same issue...uses a sniper rifle...legendaries drop raider armors and melee weapons. In skyrim i always got the opposite. Played a mage got a 2H sword. Played a warrior got a Staff. Played an archer got heavy armor (in master cheasts) :D

My Game Changing Legendary weapon I found is the Explosive Combat Shotgun. That gun has singlehandedly saved me hours of playing because of how OP it is. I can drop Legendary enemies with ease. Has really great range as well surprisingly but that's good since up close u can suicide with the splash damage. It's so frickin OP. The two shot laser rifle was a pretty nice pick up as well, it does more damage than my two shot plasma rifle.

its very good but has the limited range of other miniguns, in short in an shootout with an group of supermutants its perfect, not so much for stopping an charging deathclaw as its basically two DoT effects,

I prefer the explosive one, AoE effect and instant.

Kneecapper Fat Man. So they can't run away from a follow-up.

In my sessions trying to 'farm' legendaries where I'm hitting a location like the national guard bldg. over and over, it seems like maybe 2-3% of the time a legendary enemy won't drop a legendary item at all. Maybe 5% of the time there's not even a legendary enemy in the first room at all.

Out in the open world, it's easy to question yourself that maybe you were confused in the heat of battle, but just sitting and grinding like that, you definitely notice that it is NOT a 100% drop rate.

Why is a Legendary Glowing Mirelurk carrying a Junkie's Double Barrel Shotgun? Either that was one friggin' unlucky Junkie or that Mirelurk has a fetish.

Honestly, though, this is my 5th "Junkie" item. Are there really that many Junkies in the game? I don't even take 'em! (Okay, Radx and Radaway, but I don't think those count). It doesn't even help Cait 'cause she goes from clean to sober so fast it's scary!

Frankly, if they COULD run away from the follow-up, I can pretty much guarantee I'd be running the other direction. YIKES!

Hey, I'm a legendary fat man!

Alright, I'm not legendary... just a fat guy...

But for sure, one of the most absurd that I (well a friend rather) came across was a Fat Man with a chance to stagger enemies...

Wait... let's read that again. A Fat Man with a chance to stagger enemies.

Is this a sick joke of some sort?

I have yet to find a Medic's legendary weapon at all and can't wait to cure a bunch of raiders with a Legendary Medic's Fatman.

I have a Nocturnal Fat Man that does more damage at night. Dumped it in the box with the rest of my Legendary gear but I do keep a Lucky Fat Man nearby for Mirelurk Queens and distant enemies with their own Fat Mans.

I found a automatic pipe pistol with the kneecapper trait. I usually shoot one clip 48 rounds into anything and it can't move.

Just got a irradiated 10mm pistol from a legendary ghoul. While I prefer the Deliverer as my go to pistol, I gave the irradiated 10mm the automatic mod. And Holy cow, does it melt raiders and gunners no problem.

Got another weird one - Enraging Fat Man. This is kind of redundant as anything that would survive is going to be angry without the legendary effect.

Instigating Fatman is the most OP, but anything with explosive ammo is an "I win" button.
