Advanced Systems Terminal 28.
Proposal:

Pre war plasma weapons exist, albeit in a somewhat primitive state. Samples have been collected; with work from a dedicated research team said weapons could be improved upon dramatically.

Approval

Pending - Li.M
Notes: something to consider, after phase three is complete.

Could this be possibly included in DLC? would love to see some advanced plasma weaponry.

Ehrm... Glock 97 Plasma Pistol. P-94 Plasma Caster. Q-series Plasma Rifle (albeit experimental). MPLX Novasurge prototype pistol. All pre-war.

Raygun enthusiasts could make their targets smell the ozone before the war. That's already been established.

I'm not sure. I don't think so. I think it's probably just referring to the future of institute weaponry... and lets be honest, the only advancements we'll be making for the institute is retrieving synths, clearing out feral ghouls and acquiring confiscated BoS tech.. :P

That is the work of the young scientist, so she would need to live. It will also need to be compatible with all of the current endings. As part of a DLC,? sure.

Adding something for the Institute would mean having to add something for the BoS, Rail Road and Minutemen. This means you'd only have access to a 1/3 of the DLC content in any given play through, so you're likely to see Bethesda push out more faction specific radiant quests or tech in a low priority, free update rather in than a full DLC. A paid DLC will probably be focused around a new quest and area that will most likely ignore the faction you belong to.

If it doesn't, and manages to do both of these things I'd be quite surprised and super happy. But realistically, given the rate they are patching the game at, It's probably going to be faction ambiguous.
