The pacify for humans never works for some reason. The vault boy pops up, the human puts away his weapon only to re-equip it immediately after and start fighting again. I have pacify for creatures and animals too, and these always work. What gives?

If you holster your gun, try to pick a lock/hack a terminal, or one of their allies gets close enough to them they will re-start attacking. Works plenty well for me so far

It also happens to enemies that are alone, with me still aiming (not shooting) my gun at him. He will put the gun away, then instantly restart his attack.

Maybe it is because I have nick valentine with me?

Are you wearing power armor?

Is that the cause? Yeah, I was. I was at the last few missions of the game so I used it most of the time.

There is a weird bug that supposedly sometimes happens with pacify and power armor.
