After my second play through of the game I decided to go with the Brotherhood. No more detail needed. I am posting this for community help and/or clarifications. Search and googled my problem with no clear solutions.


I held off on finding all bobble heads and magazines till after completing the game so I have something to do till DLC release. There is one major problem I am having with a few generalized items but specific ones. Help or clarification would be greatly appreciated.


Problem generalization: Magazines (Comic books)

Subnote: missing/inaccessible.


Problem one: The picket fences issue located in Weston Water treatment plant is missing. Looked all over ground and under stuff to no avail.


Problem two: Astoundingly Awesome Tales - Have Dog, Will Travel is located in the Institute but did not collect before detonation of reactor. Now as far as I can tell the magazine is inaccessible after Maine story line.


My thought and opinion is why would they place a collectible item in a place that is not permanent to the game. (Inside the Institute) there is not achievement for collections all magazines but I like collecting as a personal experience. They did this in Skyrim with one of the stones of Barenzia but moved it after with a patch/update. Repeating the same mistake?


Any information or help with problem one would be great but problem two is Kinda a svcks to be you deal.

Unfortunately, other than my sympathy, I can't offer any help to your problem(s). In each of the F.O. games I've played they have had this. In F.O. 3 they had a bobble head in an NPC's locker. It was considered stealing to get into it. It was out of character for me to bust that lock, and I can't remember what made me do it (I think I didn't like the guy) but I was surprised and disappointed to find that bobble head in there. They shouldn't make you steal to get them.

In F.O. NV there was a questline involving the Brotherhood at Raven Rock, I think it was, in which you seal off the compound. Well, there was a bobble head in there that if you hadn't gotten before completing that quest you were out of luck.

So I guess I take that as a heads-up - "get it while the getting's good" cause yeah, you're cutting yourself off at the knees not grabbing the goodies when you first find them.
