Rules:
1) Be realistic to the Fallout Universe
2) Gun ammo at Point lookout will be hard to find

4) no one sentence posts
5) No one can be the Hero of the wastes.
6) If for some reason you want your character to get laid don't go into detail lol

8) I dont need to approve your character, just join and start Rp'ing, although if you break a rule I reserve the right to kill you off.

Story
-These events take place after the Hero of the wastes has completed the Point Look out Quests-

Point Look Out is a hellhole even by the standards of the Capital wastes, it's a cold damp land full of inbred Swamp folks, Mercs, and a Insane Church pray for the return of there fallen god. There still exists a small town along the beach, and a huge Church atop the isles tallest point. A old Holding Camp for Chinese Americans is along the north of the isle, but other than that it's all Swamp.

This Island is old and full of secrets, dark secrets that have been here even before the fallout and death of the old world. One such place is Blackhall manor, what appears to be a run down mansion has a secret buried underneath it. The old man who owned the house has been killed, some say by the Hero of the wastes, other say Swamp Folk got him. Regardless of how he died word has come out the manor is un occupied and it's treasure is there for the taking, every merc and Rogue from the wastes to the Pitt will be looking to run off and make a fortune.

What lays beneath the old manor, a homestead even the Local Swamp Folk stray from, catch the next boat and find out.

A Gruffy long Bearded man, of caucasian/Asain heritage. In good physical condition, able to go long distances in a day, but as most people barely scraqes by in the wastes.

Short Bio\introduction
Born in springvale he lived with his Parents till the age of 4 when they died from Rad sickness. Somehow he survived and was found my Merchants a few days later. Taken to Megaton he had it rough living in the Common House, over the years he grew into a bitter but strong young man, when he was 17 he killed for the first time. It was the one thing he excelled at, while he personally didn't care for it it's what needed to be done. He made a good living as a bounty hunter and after years tracking the wastes has become very good at killing. He favored a Combat Shotgun he was constantly repairing just to keep working, but he could kill just as easy with a 10mm Handgun he carried.

When Megatons Sheriff Died he decided there needed to someone to carry out the law. The Townfolk never warmed upto him however and the Local Saloon owner made his life a hell. He often wanted to kill him but he and his own code needed a reason to blast the bastard. He spent most his time out on the wastes Slaughtering Rogue beasts and ambushing any Super Mutant that wondered out alone.

On a dirty haze of a day near sunset he sat outside Megaton Drinking the first pure water he had tasted in months when a Wastelander approached him asking if Fuyuki could help him, you see the Mans wife had run off with there children. It had been quite round Megaton So Fuyuki agreed and helped the man track his Family down Wilhelms Wharf. He found the runaway Wife but also found she had willingly become the new wife of 3 Raiders and had sold the kids off. The Husband was enraged and charged getting a bullet to the forehead. Fuyuki had all the reason he needed and drew his 10mm out emptying a clip into the crowd killing the raiders and runaway wife.

He looted what he wanted from them and noticed a note, child slavers where near, a little while later he tracked them down and found out the children had been sold and taken off on a boat south of Arlington Library. He thought of leaving them to there fate, but thought also of Paradise Falls and how they treated there child slaves. He maid his mind up he was going to atleast find these children and see if they had another family member or anywhere they wanted to go. Maybe he could get them into Little Lamplight even, Days later he found the Boat, asked the women running it and discovered that two Children had indeed traveled to point Lookout.

The Sheriff also noticed a group traveling to that same isle, he could hear talk of treasure and more.

Biography: Former Vault-Dweller, Kyle Smith was kicked out to find a new water chip, and some tools to repair the regrowable food source. It took him two weeks, but after he returned, the Overseer denied him access. He shot the overseer and left for the wastes. During his time in Vault 34, he served as the vault's crime lord. If you wanted somebody "gone" he was the man to talk to. If you wanted a rare secret edition of "Grognak the Barbarian," he was the man to talk to. After he was banished from Vault 34, he made his way to the Pitt. During his time with the Pitt Raiders, he stole enough to go back to the Wasteland with all the stolen items. He sold them and purchased his rifle, his armor, and his sword.

During his stay in Rivet City, he impregnated a woman named Scarlet. After the birth of his son, he killed her and took his son to be protected in Vault 34. There he was safe, protected, and sheltered. Kyle heard of riches in Point Lookout, and of his long-time nemesis, the Lone Wanderer. The Lone Wanderer had compromised many operations of the crime lord Kyle's. He took the first boat to Point Lookout seeking the treasure, and the head of his enemy, the Lone Wanderer...

In in, ive been thirsting for a Point Lookout RP.

Race:Blackfoot indian heritage.

Born: Point lookout.

Special perk: Scrounger, Gunslinger.

Appearence:Mid-height(5'7") with a dusky complection and toned muscle. He is slim and quick, with the same sharp facial features as his blackfoot ancestors. His eyes are a piercing white-blue, reminicent of a crystal clear pond frozen over with ice.

Weapons :Double-barreled shotgun strapped under his arm for easy reach.(4),Lever-action rifle slung over his shoulder(2),A .32 pistol tucked into his waistband(3),And a 6-inch switchblade tucked into his boot.(1)

{Note that at the moment he only has his shotgun, a bandolier of shells, and his switchblade. He will purchase all other weapons and ammo, as well as various survival supplies from madam panada after after leaving the Dutchess Gambit.

Background:Born to a father of blackfoot indian ancestry, jansen was raised as a hunter, to stay alive against anything the world might throw at him. A\He is an expert in conventional firearms and explosives, as well as traps and building and tracking. He is a dedicated survivalist, capable of surviving on own for weeks on end, living off of the local wildlife and edible plants. Sadly, he has little mechanical knowledge beyond firearms and explosives, anf thus wont even touch plasma or laser weapons. He is also a skilled martial artist, and can make use of any conventional or melee weapon he comes across. Until recently, he had been working as a guard on the Dutchess Gambit until the rumors about blackhall manor spurred his interest. After the boat makes its next haul of passengers back to point lookout, he is going to collect his pay, purchase supplies, and set off with the others for blackhall manor.

PS:The 10 point system is crap, because it stops me from choosing from the considerable arsenal of real-life weapons.


Maybe he didn't want anyone to choose real life weapons, and just wanted to stick to the true Point Lookout lore from the game.

You realise that lore isnt the reason why only a handful of weapons survived the great war, right? It was because the developers couldnt spend hours upon hours coding weapons. If he allows energy weapons and power armor, hes already infringing upon PL's feel. So that isnt the reason.

Real world weapon allow there to be more real choices. There are machine pistols, a hundred different forms of SMG's, high calibur handguns, hundreds of assault rifle variants and customizations.

It wont ruin the story, it just makes it a less creativity-friendly sign up. I have the same problm with requiring RP'ers to give SPECIAL skills, or list perks. It is more story-like and ess game-like to allow players to describe their charicters abilities and limitations in their own words, instead of through meaningless numbers.

I'll let it all slide, because drunken nord is probably a relatively new RP host and will want to stick to game mechanics, because he understinds them. But in reality, fan fics and RP's are just stories set in the game world, not stories based on the ACTUAL video game. Stats and such can be thrown out the window as long as it keeps loosely close to lore. In fact, with a disclaimer to keep lorehounds away, you can ignore most lore, as long as you dont break any deeply-set well-know rules of game history.

Biography: It all started 34 years ago when in Northern Va in a small town about 40 miles from The Capital Wasteland.
It was mostly runned by the enclave. A officer got drunk one night and accidently got mixed with a Local.
A few weeks later the woman finds out she's pregnant and tells the officer. Hoping nobody finds out the officer gives the woman supplies and 2000 caps to move to the Capital Wasteland without him. Taking the offer she left with a cavaren going to the Capital Wasteland.

Moving to a small settlement the woman gives birth to a child which she names Bensin ,after the father (which people still wonder why?).
Growing up in the small settlement which laid near Arlington Bensin grew up learning every thing from his mother and friend's father Robert Tempson.
Living happily he becomes very good at barganing and talking to people. Reaching the age of 15 his mom dies after being attacked by a feral ghoul.
Seeking vegence on the ghouls he starts going on scavenge parties just to kill feral ghouls in the dark metro tunnels they search through.

Becoming rather good at this he starts to go out by his self and kill feral ghouls for fun.
Turning 23 he leaves the settlement to make a living on his own. Going through the wasteland he finds out that he is very good when it comes to cooking.
Spending some time in Megaton at the Brass Latern he improves his skill and worked thier for years.At the age of 30 he takes his earnings and gos out to find a better cooking job. Searching he finds a man named Dukov. Working for about a month he quits after the being disgusted engough of Dukov's actions and heads out. Working in Rivet city for a while he enjoyed going to the church. After gaining a few more earnings he restarts his favorite hobby of ghoul hunting. After about a few years he hears of a place called Point Lookout. Other hearing about the treasures of Black Hall Manor he hears of a ghoul safari and even more a special fruit that people will pay plenty for in the Capital Wasteland. Hoping for goods and treasures he travels to the points and readies himself at Pillgrim Landing.

Works for me, I haven't started a RP in a while, back on the Elder Scrolls section we just used to have one thread for everything, but things change.

As far as complaints against the 10 point rule it's simply a means of keeping things realistic imo. While the game allows you to carry a ton of weapons theres no way a human would or could trench around with 14 pistol, 25 melee weapons and a Missile Launcher.

While I didn't go into detail on this although I should have, I never said you couldn't find new weapons on the island. Nor did I mean to say you couldn't grab a Log or rock and bash in some Locals skull. I just wanted to keep Mini Nukes and Missiles to a minimum.

I didn't even restrict Armor because seeing how the actual Video game inspired the RP universe and the game has Power Armor ect. It's not impossible someones character has come across it and or stole it. Besides since the game is what things are based on everyone should know Power Armor does not equal invincible, and in a more realistic setting minus a Helmet and your one head shot away from death.

Short Bio\introduction
Dave Dales was part of the Vault 34 group that was sent into the wastes to retrive a new waterchip for the vault. During the mission he was seperated from the group as he got lost during the night. He survived for months in the Wastes fighting off everything he could, barely surviving. The only thing that gave him the will to continue was the though of his young son, he would do anything for him, and make the world the best he could for him, afterall, that was all he had. When he returned to vault 34 he had wondered if the group had achieved its goals. He went in to find the vault in chaos and oversear dead. He nearly went insane when he found his son dead, shot in the chest 5 times. He fell to the ground in tears and cryed for a hour before he stopped. He went blind with anger and killed nearly everyone he saw. He knew it had to be Kyles doing that caused all this. He wanted revange, he needed revange, he craved revange and he would get it, or die trying.

He had heard from a trader that a sinister man named Kyle had gone to Point lookout in look for the treasure there. With nothing else to live for but revange he stocked up for the journey and took the riverboat to Point Lookout.

Kyle'll kill you if you even think about it, he is in a full suit of power armor (armor/helm), has a plasma rifle, and if that doesn't work, a chinese sword.
