[PS4] I seem to be duping fusion cores somehow

Post » Wed Jan 13, 2016 1:18 pm

I started with about 11, then decided I would go and find power armors to try and find an X01 set.

This involved going to known locations while wearing power armor, and grabbing pieces off the frame, then I'd come back without power armor, stick in a fusion core and grab the frame. I'd bring the frame back to my settlement, park it and remove the core.

Rinse and repeat. I have a [censored] ton of power armor now, mostly t45, t51 and t60's, along with about 20 armor frames.

Everytime I grab a new power armor frame it would pop in a brand new 100% full core into the frame. When I'd remove it they were about 89-99% full.

Somehow during this entire process I've gone from having 11 full fusion cores, to 17 full fusion cores and 24 used fusion cores with anywhere from 89-99% charge in them.

Did I discover some kind of bug? because I sure as hell haven't been picking up this many cores all over the place and none of the armor or frames that I grabbed had cores in them.

Yeah I got the same bug.

I have 14 full fusion cores and about 25 that are around 75-95%.

Dropped the full fusion cores in a box at my home plate in DC so I would have to use the others.

Besides, have you experienced the Garvey Loop bug after the BoS ending?

He keeps saying the same thing all the time and I can't get him to accompany me anymore.

Not that I liked him a lot as companion, but I'd like to move him from Covenant to Sanctuary Hills.

I didn't know about this bug, but I do exploit them so to speak. I use them until they get around 2% then sell them. You get full price for them whether they are full or almost empty.

same here he keeps starting the same conversation over and over, all the options are gray now because I clicked them all and hit him a few times, I just want to give him a better laser musket >.< that's all I want to do game.

Apparently it is linked to Dance being dead.

Same bug with Garvey and can't move him either......I really wish I could either move him or kill him, don't really care which.

I haven't experienced that yet but I'm not finished the BoS storyline, I've joined two factions and only just got inside the institute but I wanted to find an X01 set and work on my settlements before proceeding.

He does keep sending me to the same damn settlements though for kidnappings and raiders/ghouls.

I tried to finish all quests from the minuteman,I tried killing Garvey,I tried shooting everyone else to get him to hate me,but nothing helps. He still repeats the same lines over and over again.

Well in my case Danse is still alive and happy. ??

But even if I shot(didn't want to) and killed him(Danse) it does nothing to break the loop(but I had to try.... [Insert sad victoriam moment here]). -_-

Apparently this problem can be fixed with a console command on Pc,but for the ps4/xbox users it's obviously not working.

Hope they're looking into this because it's really annoying.

I even thew a dozen grenades at Garveys feet that blew him over the wall in Covenant,he just keeps coming back repeating the old lines... >.<

I've had a similar (but not identical) bug. If I keep enough (six to eight) mostly-charged (like 95% or more) FCs in my pocket, one will occasionally "top up" and be at 100%.

Some of the Power Armor Frames come with a full Fusion Core, so it's probable that you just grabbed everything from the frame without actually looking at what it was, and picked up a few extra cores that way.

A few of them did have cores, but I didn't pickup 24 additional cores, that much I know.

I guess realistically I can't say for sure either way because I wasn't paying much attention on my hunt for PA.
