BoS stole my power armor

So I ended up eventually at Concord, having skipped the hand held intro to the main quest. I had already been to goodneighbor and diamond city. I had even seen the airship and got an offer to join the BoS from Paladin Danse. I was on my way back to my own little fortress in Sanctuary Hills when I decided I might as well clear the "investigate concord" quest from my list. Anyhoo my point is now vertibirds and BoS squads are roaming the wastelands. And oddly enough when I emerged on the roof of the Freedom Museum, the BoS were on the streets fighting the attacking Raiders.

Well this sort of svcked for me as you see I wanted the challenge of fighting the raiders in melee combat and then taking on the Deathclaw afterwards. Now I had to watch my fire so as not to hit the BoS. So using the power armor I jumped down from the roof so as to not injure myself. Then I exited the power armor and attacked the Raiders. I had managed to get all the way to the end of the street when the Deathclaw showed up. I managed to get the killing blow but between the circling vertibird and the troops on the ground, they sort of cheapened the kill.

That's when I saw my complete rusty suit of Power Armor I had just gotten from the roof, go walking by. "Thanks for the assist civilian, now get out of our way, we can take it from here." Ashley Williams said to me... and all I could do was watch the first complete set of power armor I had gotten, walk over to the landed vertibird and climb aboard.

damn you Ashley Williams!

Funny story, but honestly, you have no right to be surprised. Taking tech they have no right to is kind of what the Brotherhood of Steel is all about.

They're kinda dikes like that.

Haha, proof that the BoS are just greedy and power hungry. Kill them all before they steal everything else of value from the wasteland and then bugger off home and leave everyone to die.

Always lock your doors.

At least it's in good hands now.

LOL OMG that is awesome! Well, not for you obviously, but uhm, did you leave the fusion core in the suit? Always, always remove that thing! :D

yeah I had left a fusion core in it. in the heat of battle I had forgotten to remove it. Otherwise I never leave cores in PA.

The BoS, takes any advanced tech, period. I remember running into a BoS patrol and was told basically 'you're lucky we're on an assignment, otherwise we would confiscate that PA.'

Also wonder if leaving the core means anything since BoS normally carry least one with them.

but my power armor was pre-war lol. and rusty. not like the fancy polished stuff they run about in now. oh well. I got my raider set put together now and it looks way more badass then standard power armor.

Always, always, always, always take the fusion core out of any power armor you disembark just to prevent these things from happening.

It'll become a habit quickly enough.
