I stumbled upon a glitch to get Boone's Scoped Hunting Rifle, which is convenient for me cause he has become useless!

I had to dismiss ol' Boone b/c i needed to attain a certain quest item from a certain barbaric tribe peacefully. When i returned to him, he wasn't very happy with me but he decided to give me another chance. But now Boone wants to make my Mojave Wasteland life a living hell!

The bug is that, anytime i get near him he asks, "What is it?" I says, "Goodbye". He asks, "What is it?" AAARRRRGGGGHHHH!!! He is now completely useless for me and he must be dealt with.

The glitch is to take him into a casino with you and surrender your weapons. Then, instantly exit the casino and you'll magically aquire his sniper rifle. You will be unable to give it back to him and if you drop it, you'll be unable to pick it back up.

I'm thinking about taking him to the NCRCF and leaving him there for good or taking him out into the southern desert, confiscate his gear, and tell him to wait FOREVER!
