I have done loads of these help settlers etc...

However in one I had a failed quest due to the person kidnapped managing to get killed as they where in another room, when a gun turret exploded. I carried on for a while and had several other similar quests to go and do.

Now though, I have been asked to help out again. But I can't start the quest! For some stupid reason, I have a quest that needs to be started by the person in that room that is dead!

I can't see anything to allow me to drop the quest so I assume I can not continue getting further quests?
