This forum is really pissing me off... subscribed here just to describe my problem with Curie always returning to Vault 81 after dismissing but lost my entire post because "don't have permission to post links" since i was trying to post a link to a reddit thread that describes the problem and to show I'm not the only one with the issue.

Anyways, if you have any questions, I'll reply but I can't be arsed to rewrite the entire post at the moment since I'm too frustrated.

Changed my mind:

I have Curie and no matter where I send her she just returns to Vault 81 outside the infirmary. I believe this bug was created when towards the end of the quest Hole in the Wall, I returned to Sanctuary before visiting the infirmary to stash everything. Didn't think twice but when I grabbed Dogmeat (dismissed him so he didn't get my infected), Curie was not technically my companion and there was no confirmation, she just vanished. I scoured Vault 81 and finally found her outside the infirmary after resting for 48 hours (it took her a very long time to reach Vault 81). Since I didn't think twice of it, I played for quite a while only to discover this bug. I can either revert a save and lose out on 40 hours of play time or just continue to play with this bug active.

I'm going to miss my fav companion since I'm too lazy to go to Vault 81 every time to get her.
