When I try to load any of my saves, the loading screen for them continues forever with the tooltips continuing to cycle. When I alt+tab out of Fallout 4, the sound of the game continues (e.g. when i click and drag my mouse it makes the sound of moving the rotating model). When I close Fallout 4, it continues to run in the background until I end it with task manager. I've tried verifying the game files (with and without antivirus enabled), running it in windowed, windowed borderless, all graphics settings (low, medium, high, ultra), all different resolutions and nothing works. Please send help, I'm 20 hours into the game and I really don't want to lose my progress. D:

I think you have encountered the corrupt game save file bug. The same thing happened to me and many others. So far the only fix I can find is to delete all of your saved games and reinstall Fallout 4. This has worked for some people but not everyone. I can't believe Bethesda released a game with a bug like this.
